Design Direction facilitated and oversaw the process of working with Ohio designer Tim Frame on the creation of this new logo for the City of Frankfort, Michigan. This harbor town on the east side of Lake Michigan is well-known for fishing, its Breakwater Lighthouse, and stunning views of our country’s “third coast” – in the heart of what is over 3,000 miles of Michigan freshwater coastline.
This logo embraces the historic significance and natural beauty of this area. Developed in two primary versions with one, two, and three colors for varied print usage, the logo has become a versatile and memorable emblem for the city.
